1. Large flow rate: The unique structural design of the double-suction pump gives it a large flow area. It absorbs water from both sides at the same time, and the water flow converges in the pump cavity before being discharged. This design greatly increases the water flow delivery capacity. 5. Convenient maintenance: The structural design of the double-suction pump takes into account the convenience of maintenance. Usually, the pump body adopts a horizontal split structure, that is, the pump body is divided into upper and lower halves in the horizontal direction. When inspecting and repairing, there is no need to dismantle the inlet and outlet pipes and the motor. You only need to loosen the connecting bolts of the pump body and lift the upper part of the pump body to conveniently inspect, repair and replace the impeller, shaft, seal and other parts. This design greatly shortens the inspection time and reduces the maintenance cost.

The motor drives the impeller to rotate at high speed, forming a low-pressure area in the center of the impeller. The liquid enters from both sides of the impeller (double suction port) at the same time, and after converging, it is thrown to the volute by the impeller. The centrifugal force makes the liquid gain kinetic energy, and the volute converts the kinetic energy into pressure energy, and finally discharges it from the discharge port.

Structural features

- Horizontal center opening of the pump casing: such as the SH type double suction clean water centrifugal pump, there is no need to dismantle the water inlet and discharge pipes and motors during maintenance, which is convenient for inspection and maintenance.

- Symmetrical impeller structure: It is composed of two back-to-back impellers, which is equivalent to two single-suction impellers of the same diameter working at the same time. Under the same impeller outer diameter, the flow rate can be doubled, and the axial forces offset each other, and the operation is relatively stable.

- Diverse shaft seals: BURGMANN mechanical seals or packing seals are selected to ensure long-term operation without leakage.

- Good bearing performance: SKF and NSK bearings are mostly selected to ensure smooth operation, low noise and long service life.

- Flexible installation form: It can be installed separately or horizontally according to the on-site use conditions.

- Urban water supply and drainage: It can be used in urban water supply systems to provide a large amount of water for residents' lives and industrial production. It is also suitable for urban drainage projects to discharge sewage, rainwater, etc. to treatment plants or rivers and lakes.
